Google and Apple dominate the global market for smartphone

The next closest competitor is Microsoft Windows Phone, which had a decline in its share of the market, or by 3.3% as it was in 2013, at 2.7% in 2014, although the company offered free phones Lumia line.
And despite major reorganization of its phones, BlackBerry has continued to decline from 1.9% market share it had in 2013, at just 0.4% in 2014.
IDC is now referring to smart phones market as a contest between "two horses", because nobody else seems to be able to challenge the leaders.
