Over 1.2 billion mobile smart phones are sold across the globe in 2014, says a new study.
GfK analysts have published a detailed new report, which shows an increase of 23 percent in units sold compared to fiscal year 2013.
Further, the same report says that in 2014 the total revenue from sales of phones reached 381 billion dollars, compared with 2013 when the figure had reached 330 billion dollars.
The fourth quarter is usually particularly successful, mainly due to the holiday season, and last year was no different trend. This, as the number of units sold increased by 19 percent.
