Xiaomi exceeds rival Samsung, becoming the first in China

Xiaomi has received the leader in the market of smartphones in China, leaving behind its giant rivals like Samsung and Apple, a new report says IDC.

After a staggering increase of 150 percent in the last quarter of 2014, Xiaomi has taken a market share totaling 12.5 percent, or 5 percent more than in 2013.
In the meantime, Samsung has declined participation to 12.1 percent from 18.7 percent. An earlier report by Canalys said manufacturer Xiaomi has become the third largest in the world for mobile smart phones.
Later some other market analyzes suggest that Apple has surpassed its rival Samsung, to become the number 1 manufacturer in the world, after the tremendous success of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
