In the meantime, Samsung has declined participation to 12.1 percent from 18.7 percent. An earlier report by Canalys said manufacturer Xiaomi has become the third largest in the world for mobile smart phones.
Later some other market analyzes suggest that Apple has surpassed its rival Samsung, to become the number 1 manufacturer in the world, after the tremendous success of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
