At the beginning of the month as always, Google posting statistics using its Android operating system, but also reveals the percentage of devices that rely on different versions of Android.
In its latest report, Android 5.0 Lollipop reportedly holds a handful of mobile devices on Android, or just 3.3 percent.
And this figure is not a big jump from the previous month, but doubled the number of devices - because last month the figure was 1.6 percent.
Android Kitkat seems to be the main version of the Android operating system that supports 40.9 percent of the equipment, the increase of 39.7 percent from a month ago.
Android Jelly Bean saw a slight decrease in the latest figures, because this version supports almost 42.6 percent of total Android devices.
And that a lot of sense, given that the majority of manufacturers have released their devices with Android 4.4 Kitkat as their operating system.
As far as older versions, there are still devices supported by Ice Cream Sandëich and Gingerbread, with 5.9 and 6.9 percent respectively.
