Operators prohibit voice calls to WhatsApp

Function newest WhatsApp has not yet released the mobile phones are likely to be stopped by mobile operators in certain countries.

According to multiple reports said that the planned service for free calling application has just been blocked in the UAE by the mobile operator Etisalat.
But it is currently unclear as to stop the service has not yet entered into force, but agree that the mobile operator does not want people to make free calls on its network.
Country Regulatory Authority has confirmed in its statement that belongs to mobile operators to decide whether to allow the service of Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP), saying:
"VoIP services are still a prerogative of licensed providers reserve the right to provide these services through their networks." "Companies that offer such services should be coordinated with telecom providers licensed in the UAE. "
The reported ban does not come as a surprise to other operators, including India's main operator, Bharti Airtel, making clear their reluctance to allow VoIP services on their mobile network.
