TM4: Apple gets head from Samsung, globally

New models of smartphones to Apple, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus has been incredibly popular in the market, and now according to a recent report said that Apple sold more smartphones in the fourth quarter of 2014 than its main rival Samsung.

The last time Apple was the number of shipments of smart phones globally was in 2011, the new report says Gartner.
According to the report data from Gartner, Apple has sold a total of 74.8 million phones in the fourth quarter of 2014, giving the company a market participation of 20.4 percent, compared with Samsung that has sold 73 million phones wise in the same quarter which gave the company a global turnout of 19.9 percent.
If we compare this quarter to the same quarter in 2013, Samsung had 29.5 percent of the global market with 83 million units sold phones, while Apple had 17.8 percent of the market with 50 million iPhone units sold in the that time.
