Apple may be the market leader in the most populous state in the world

Apple may have lost the title of the largest global manufacturers of mobile smart phones to rival Samsung, but apparently the American company based in Cupertino soon could become creator of the No. 1 spot in China, which is the biggest market in the world of mobile phones.

According to a report by research firm Strategy Analytic said that Apple has sold 13.5 million units of iPhone in China during Q1 2015, from 7.8 million units it had sold in the quarter a year ago. With 12 percent of the market in the quarter, the creator of iPhone was ranked second most populous country.
On the other hand, Xiaomi is the leader in China has sold 14 million phones for the same quarter, taking more than 12.8% of the market.
Another point worth mentioning here is that Samsung, who is now leader of the mobile market in the world, not even ranked among the three leading manufacturers in China, which has occurred for the first time in Q4 2011.
